When you call or email about a booking, Zemirah will need to know:

- Date and time of the performance
- Desired length of performance
- Address and telephone number of the performance venue 
- Name and telephone number of contact person 

- Event occasion (birthday party, shower, banquet, conference, etc.)

- Is there a special guest?
- Number of people attending 
- Special requests for customization
- Configuration of dance space (will there be a dance floor, a raised stage, tables to dance between, etc.)

Zemirah is willing to dance at any location within a reasonable distance from Boston. For more distant locations, travel time and expenses will be added to the cost of the performance.

Depending upon the location, usually Zemirah will arrive at a performance wearing her costume under a cover-up. She will need to (quickly) finish preparing for her performance in a private well lit room (a restroom will suffice) and access to a restroom. There should also be a secure place for her belongings while she is dancing.

For all performances booked more than two weeks in advance, Zemirah requires a deposit equal to one-half of the performance fee. The deposit can be made by cash, check or credit card (PayPal). This deposit is refundable until one week before the event, at which point it is non-refundable.

You may pay the entire fee in advance by cash, check or credit card (PayPal).  If you choose to pay Zemirah at the event, Zemirah will accept cash or check.  Payment must be made when Zemirah arrives at the venue. 

Tipping is always welcome as long as its done in a respectful manner. Audience members may tip by using the traditional Arab practice of tossing bills over the performer’s head or by putting them in the dancer’s hip belt or under the dancer’s bra straps. 

Zemirah travels with an assistant to help with setting up the CD player, assisting with props, costume changes, etc. An assistant also ensures her safety.
